    A new approach is needed for distance learning; new research provides key lessons | CalMatters
    Dear NRHEG Families,

    Our school district staff is excited to continue learning on emergency school closure days which we call “Flexible Learning Days”.  When school is cancelled, due to weather or another emergency, student learning will continue at home.  Our school calendar allows five flexible learning days per school year. 


           Pre-K through third grade has created a Flexible Learning Day Card.  This card provides educational learning activities across all academic areas.  Students are expected to follow the directions on the card and return the card/work within two days after the cancelled day. You can also access this card on the elementary school website (nrheg.k12.mn.us).  Teachers will be available on the cancelled day to answer questions via email from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
