Preschool Teachers
Grace Nelson gnelson@nrheg.k12.mn.us Elementary Building
Hello! My name is Grace Nelson. I grew up right outside the town of New Richland, Minnesota. I am the second oldest of nine children in my family. Playing with and teaching my siblings new things is something I enjoyed very much growing up. This passion for teaching continued to grow. I became a paraprofessional in the NRHEG Public Schools district after graduating high school. This confirmed that I wanted to pursue a career in Education. I have spent these last four years studying education and this spring I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education K-6, Early Childhood Education, and a Preprimary endorsement. I love preschoolers because they are always excited to learn. They say honest and inspirational things that help me see the world through their eyes. I am excited and looking forward to making many new little friends and helping them discover more about the amazing world they are a part of through singing, dancing, painting, playing, reading and more!

My name is Elizabeth Nelson. I was raised in New Richland, and am so blessed to be part of such a wonderful community. Growing up, I always enjoyed welcoming new children to our family and going on missions trips and meeting children. Whether it was my younger siblings or cousins, or children in orphanages, I had the honor and privilege to care for, love on many of them, and experience the joyous moments of young children. Through these experiences, I was able to view that every child is a blessing, and each one has a true purpose in life. After I graduated high school, I worked as a Paraprofessional in the NRHEG school district. I flet that my calling was to become a teacher, and so I pursued that dream. Currently, I am a graduate from Bethel University with a Bachelor degree, and a Tier 3 license in Elementary Education, Pre-primary Education, and Early Childhood Education. During my college years, I had several opportunities to discover the exciting experiences preschool children brought to the room. There really is never a dull moment with a preschool child, and I am so excited to engage in the joy that preschoolers bring to life, as well as help them discover their purpose.
