    Important Secondary Information

    Open House for grades 6-12, 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 28Parents and students will have the opportunity to meet the staff, get student schedules, fill out paperwork, and attend general information sessions. 

     

    6th Grade Orientation will be held during the Open House at 6:30 p.m. in the upper commons.  The Orientation program will last approximately 1.5 hours.  Students and parents should enter through the east doors located on the ramp closest to the office, Door 1E.

     

    School Begins September 3, 2024.  School Hours are 8:28 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.  Students living in town are asked to not come to school before 8:00 a.m.   Secondary school pictures for students 6-11th grade will be Thursday, September 12.

     

    On the first day of school ALL students & faculty will report to the HS Gym at 8:28 a.m. for a meeting.  At 9:05 a.m. there will be class meetings; 6th grade report to your 1st hour classroom, 7th grade in Mr. Belcourt’s room, 8th grade in Mr. Domeier’s room, 9th grade on the east side of gym bleachers, 10th grade in the band room, 11th grade in the lower commons, 12th grade in the choir room.   HS locker assignments will be posted in the commons area. MS locker assignments will be posted on the fire doors by the office. 

     

    Interquest Detection Canines - School Detection and Deterrence ProgramsNRHEG Schools have contracted the services of Interquest Canines.  They will be providing random, unannounced visits.  Their comprehensive detection and deterrence program has one objective: to reduce the presence of drugs, alcohol, abused medication and weapons on campus and school grounds. They accomplish these objectives through the use of scent trained detection canines.  Any vehicle on school property is subject to search.  You can get more information at www.interquestk9.com/index.htm

     

    Secured Entrance at NRHEG Secondary.  When arriving at NRHEG Secondary Building/District Office after 8:28 a.m.  all students, parents and visitors are expected to enter the building using the main entrance on the east side of the building, Door 1E.  After stepping through the first set of doors, you will need to turn to the right and ring the buzzer just to the left of the door. The office staff will then identify you on their camera and buzz (unlock) the door which will allow you to enter the office.  ALL VISITORS MUST STOP AND REGISTER IN THE OFFICE. YOU WILL RECEIVE A VISITOR’S PASS BEFORE PROCEEDING INTO THE BUILDING.  This system will be in place from 8:28 a.m.-3:05 p.m. each school day.
