• REACH

The REACH started in 2017. The philosophy of the REACH program is believing in the ability of every student to overcome academic and personal obstacles to achieve success. In the REACH room each student is to be treated with dignity and respect, while being sensitive to individual needs.

Our mission is to REACH out and serve all students who need support, by helping them attain their place in life through academic and interpersonal success.  Our aim is to educate the “whole student” and to help them become the best person they can be through Relationships, Education, Accountability, Character, and Hard Work.  The personal/emotional needs of our students must be met first so they can find the academic success they are looking for. The tools we use are personal connections, individual support, and patience.

Another component of the REACH’s mission is to provide students and families of NRHEG District with daily living needs, such as food, clothing, personal hygiene items and school supplies.  In order for these needs to REACH those in need, we will rely on donations from individuals and organizations in the communities.

If you would like to learn more how REACH is helping students and families at NRHEG or would like to support our mission, please contact Robin Eder, REACH Teacher at 507/417-2649 or Brooke Krohn, School Social Worker at 507/417-2645.
