    • Your free or reduced eligibility begins when your application is approved.
    • Families who use JMC Parent Access can complete their application online after signing in.
    • If you need a form mailed to you, please contact Sara Meihak at smeihak@nrheg.k12.mn.us.

    Making a Deposit into Accounts
The district uses a Family Meal Accounting System where each student has their own individual identification number. All meal purchases are to be prepaid before meal service begins. We encourage parents/guardians to pay before the first day of school to alleviate the constraints students experience those first days of the school year. Families may add money to their accounts through electronic payment options or pay in person or by mail to either school. If sending a check, please include the student’s name. If sending cash, please place it in an envelope with the student’s name on the envelope.  To make online payments, please go to the district website, click on the Online Food Service Payment link, and log into your JMC Parent Access.  In the menu on the left, click on Lunch.

    Low Balance

Families will receive an email through JMC or a paper notification will be mailed when their account reaches a minimum balance of $6.00 per family member listed on the account, indicating that payment is needed. Families will be notified via e-mail, phone, text, or postal letter when the lunch account balance has reached -$25. The notification will include the offer of a Free and Reduced Lunch Application.  The notification will state if the account reaches -$50, it may be turned over to a collection agency. (NRHEG School District Policy #534) If you have questions regarding your child’s balance, please call the school office.
